Josh Johnston

Josh Johnston is the eCommerce Manager for the Western Canadian retailer London Drugs Ltd. Josh has been in this role for over two years and has over ten years of eCommerce experience and a Master’s Degree in History. As the only manager in the company solely dedicated to eCommerce, Josh is responsible for growing the organizations online sales and recommending the strategic initiatives necessary to achieve positive sales growth. He has worked on, and helped architect such implementations as London Drugs in-store pickup service in over seventy bricks and mortar locations, the re-platforming of Londondrugs.com on a more robust eCommerce engine, and has taken a leadership role in establishing a holistic digital marketing strategy for the company. Josh is continuously working alongside the London Drugs Retail Operations Team to help create a truly omni-channel experience for customers. From deploying iPads at store level for staff use to creating geo-targeted store specific emails, London Drugs continues to push forward with omni-channel initiatives that enhance the shopping experience regardless of whether their customers shop in-store or online.
